Social media marketing is one of the most lucrative marketing strategies online. Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are some of the sites that I frequent in my attempts to find the best methods for social media marketing. I am constantly trying to find new ways to leverage social media marketing in order to increase visibility and brand awareness for small businesses. When I was building my online business, I did not have much time to focus on other forms of internet marketing, but I soon discovered that social media marketing can be very lucrative. In this article, I will explain how social media marketing can increase your sales using four different strategies: 

Viral Traffic

 Use Viral Traffic Viral marketing is an important part of how social media marketing to increase sales. The viral nature of the internet allows people to pass on your information to their friends and contacts quickly and easily. Some examples of viral information would be a funny video, a cool photograph, or a viral list. The easiest way to create viral marketing is through viral videos. I recommend creating a funny video with your product description and website information at the end, then submitting it to YouTube and other social sharing websites. 

Build a Network of Followers

 You don't have to be a millionaire to do social media marketing. You only have to join one network or another, like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. The more social media networking accounts you have the better. One of the best social media marketing tools is Instagram; you can get more Instagram Followers by using social networks. Social networking accounts give you an opportunity to promote your products through word of mouth. 

Share Content

 Use Social Book marking sites allows you to easily share your content with others. They can bookmark your content, so others can easily find it when they are ready to read your content. You can build up social bookmarks very quickly with just a few clicks of the mouse. Many social media marketing experts place a bookmark icon right next to their content. If you have a good quality content that is consistently updated with great content, it can easily get a lot of bookmarks in a very short period of time. How social media marketing can increase sales is only limited by your imagination. By adding as many social media networking accounts as possible, connecting as many people as possible, and consistently posting your content to all of these different sites, you will have a powerful and extremely effective marketing strategy. Do this for a few months, and you will start to notice some dramatic changes. If you haven't already, start implementing these tips today. 

Promote your Business

 Participate in Forums and Comment Forums are a great place to promote your business. Find forums related to your product and start participating in conversations. People who enjoy what you have to say are more likely to share it with friends. I recommend creating a blog on your website where you can actively participate in discussions related to your product. 

Create a Photo Blog Post

 Your Site Posting any photos that you take on your vacation can dramatically boost your social media marketing efforts. Make sure you give a link to your site visitors when you post these photos to share them. People love to see photos of them taken by the beach, by their friends, etc. It can be very motivating to share these photos. People are more likely to share and re-tweet a picture of a fantastic vacation if it was taken by someone they really know and love. 

Use Coupons and Freebies

Market Your Product In this day and age of economic uncertainty, most people cannot afford to spend lots of money on advertising. However, you can advertise your product for free, at no cost at all. Use freebies, discounts, coupons, and other promotional gimmicks to get the word out about your product. When people come across your ads, they may be interested in what you have to offer.
